Fresh the slopes of Mt. Hood

apple varieties

Come taste apples, pears and wine with us!  Friday from 4pm to 6:30pm

The rains have come and there is a chill in the air.  It is the time when we gather with friends and family to give thanks and celebrate an abundant season.  We want to share some of the seasons best with you, please join us for a sampling.

Most of our apples this time of year come directly from Kiyokawa Family Orchards in Parkdale, Oregon.  Randy Kiyokawa and his crew grow over 80 varieties of apples, pears and Asian pears!  This farmer really knows his fruit, come taste for yourself!

We will also be tasting four wines that are new to the store!

One white:  Poacher’s Blend 2011  Australia–Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling

And three reds:

Anthropology 2011, Australia–Shiraz

Gamekeeper’s Blend 2010 Australia–Shiraz, Grenache, Teurgia

Spain–100% Garnacha, Campo Viejo Rioja 2012
