Greetings WIne Lovers!
It’s Rose Festival Season, it’s raining outside, and it’s high time we tasted some wine! I thought it would be fun to try three different colors today:
WHITE– from the Willamette Valley, Cherry Hill Winery’s 2011 Blanc de Pinot Noir. This is a very unusual white that is made of 100%
pinot noir grapes. Small production, tasty, affordable, and made just down the road!
PINK– from across the river and up the Columbia Valley, Charles and Charles 2011 Rosé. Currently the people’s pick for the most popular
pink on our shelf. This wine is a real crowd pleaser.
RED– from across the pond, E. Guigal 2007 Cotes Du Rhone. This is special treat as this vintage (and price point) will not be
around for too much longer. So come check it out while you can. This is one of my favorites picks in the store right now! Here is what
wine expert Robert Parker had to say about it, “An intriguing floral note, medium to full bodied, silky smooth and truly delicious, hedonistic,
an intellectually satisfying wine that is also a remarkable bargain……” 90 Points!
That’s the line up. Hope to see some of you this evening.
The tasting will be from 4:30 Until 6:30 inside the store!
